Subtle Strength: Leading with Coaching Skills
Leadership has changed dramatically – where we used to have top down authority, we now see leaders
creating conversations with those they are leading. We find that listening and collaborating play a huge
role in successful leadership. As we hire new employees who are younger and less experienced
professionally, we’ll need to focus on developing them using a wide range of soft skills.
The purpose of this workshop is to train managers in soft skills while building emotional intelligence
around conversations with their team.
In this session, managers will be trained on:

- The power of coaching skills and examples of how they can be used in varying environments
- The importance of curiosity and non-judgmentalism while helping others grow
- The three levels of listening
- How to ask open-ended empowering questions
- How to give input and make suggestions that will be understood and heard
- Understanding the five main attitudes we most often encounter and how to navigate around them
