Subtle Strength: Leading with Coaching Skills

Leadership has changed dramatically – where we used to have top down authority, we now see leaders creating conversations with those they are leading. We find that listening and collaborating play a huge role in successful leadership.

More than anything, leaders will need to learn how to navigate relationships and build psychological safety with their teams.

In this session, you’ll learn:
  • The power of coaching skills and examples of how they can be used in varying environments
  • The importance of curiosity and non-judgmentalism while helping others grow
  • The three levels of listening
  • How to ask open ended empowering questions
  • How to give input and make suggestions that will be understood and heard
  • Understanding the five main attitudes we most often encounter and how to navigate around them
